Why Join This Vinyasa Flow Class

What Is Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic style of yoga where postures are linked together through breath-led movement, creating a sequence that feels like a moving meditation. In Sylvia’s class, you’ll flow through Sun Salutations, followed by a creative sequence of postures, each held for several breaths to refine alignment and deepen your experience.

This class is slower in pace but strong in intention – helping you feel energised, centred, and lighter in heart.

Who Is This For?

This weekly yoga class is perfect if you:

“Yoga is not about perfection – it’s a journey back to yourself.”

Yes. The class is open to all experience levels. Whether it’s your first time or you’re returning to yoga, the slower pace and focus on breath and alignment make this an accessible and supportive environment. However, if you feel you are extremely unfit, Hatha Flow may be a better starting point (see Events: Susie Sun and Friday mornings)

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are helpful, especially during cooler months, for warmth during relaxation.

Mats are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You may also bring a water bottle and a blanket or jumper for the final relaxation pose.

In most cases, yes, but please let Sylvia know before class so she can offer appropriate modifications. If unsure, check with your GP or physiotherapist beforehand. Book an assessment with our highly experienced Physiotherapist

The pace is steady and grounding, with postures held for 5+ breaths to focus on alignment. While it can build strength and energy, it’s not high intensity. You’re encouraged to listen to your body throughout.

Each session runs for approximately 50 minutes. Ideally, allow 10 minutes arrival time, prepare your mind and body to settle and centre.
